"Bunya Bunya Pine"
A large tree with stiff pointed leaves.
It has a straight trunk with horizontal branches.
On mature plants, the foliage tends to be at the end of the branches.
Can produce massive cones.
Do not stand under this tree when the cones are falling.
It is found naturally in south-east Queensland Australia and two small disjunct populations in north eastern Queensland's World Heritage listed Wet Tropics.
