Falconnet Charlet' is a beautiful variety of the "Japanese Flowering Quince'.
It forms a wide-spreading, medium shrub with tangled, spiny branches and dark green, glossy leaves.
In spring masses of double, salmon-pink flowers cover the branches.
Aromatic, green-yellow fruit may be produced after flowering.
Flowering in early spring, it heralds the end of winter.
Often used in Ikebana flower arrangements.
