Commonly called the "Japanese White Flowering Quince".
It is very beautiful in late winter when masses of bright white flowers appear on the bare stems.
It forms a dense clump, and can be used as a hedging plant.
It can grow approximately 2 metres and if required pruning is best carried out in spring after flowering.
It is very hardy for sun or partial shade.
