"Crazy Filbert" "Harry Lauder's Walking Stick"
The unusual feature of this deciduous shrub is the crazy twisted and contorted branches.
This is a remarkable sight in winter when these twisted bare branches are exposed.
Then in late winter, pendulous yellow catkins form before the green leaves emerge.
Our plants are propagated in a way that ugly suckers will not appear..
It is slow growing, eventually forming a medium-large shrub.
