"Wire-netting Bush".
This curious plant is a native of New Zealand.
The tangled mass of thin stems can look like wire netting,
It produces tiny leaves and small yellow flowers followed by yelllow or somtimes red berries.
When grown in a shallow pot, it can look like a well trained bonsai.
In the garden it provided a haven for little birds.
Prefers a sunny position.
Can grow morew than 2M but easily trimmed.
