This colourful deciduous azalea produces masses of flowers in spring.
These flowers are orange-red with a yellow flash in the throat.
At the same time fresh light green leaves emerge.
A bushy shrub, growing to approximatley 1.5 metres.
The leaves can produce good autumn colours.
'Red Shank' is actually a Knaphill variety.
Best when protected from hot, drying winds.
