'Mrs Kint' is an unusual Kurume variety in that the flowers are larger than normal - more like an Indica variety. (It is often labelled as an Indica).
These large single flowers are a deep salmon pink colour and have a white border.
It forms a very compact shrub with attractive dark green foliage.
It is lovely as a single specimen or a border plant.
As with most azaleas, it is good for a patio pot.
It is a hardy variety, but still performs best in a morning sun position or dapples shade
