Commonly called the “Rock Cotoneaster”.
It is a very hardy, low growing almost prostrate shrub.
The sprays of branches appear to be tiered and if planted close to a wall can spread out like a fan against the wall.
Masses of neat white flowers with a pink tinge are produced in summer. They are great for attracting bees.
The small leaves are dark green and may be completely deciduous in colder climates but only partially in more temperate ones.
An effective ground cover, especially for otherwise difficult areas.
