This “Crepe Myrtle” produces masses of violet purple flower trusses from summer to autumn.
It usually forms a multi-stemmed shrub or small tree, approximately 4M x 3M..
The leaves provide a colourful autumn display of orange, red and maroon tones.
In winter the trunk is a feature as the bark peels and creates a mottled effect.
Crepe Myrtles need to be grown in a sunny position and will tolerate periods of dryness once established.
