"Betchels Crab Apple".
This beautiful Crab Apple forms a very shapely small tree.
In spring masses of large pink buds open to double rosy pink flowers which quickly fade to white.
The flowers are sweetly perfumed.
The leaves have good autumn color with foliage turning to a blend of orange and red
It makes an excellent feature tree in larger gardens.
It is capable of growing 6 metres or more with time.
This is not a prolific fruiting variety.
