Also known as Prunus 'Shirotae'
This "Flowering Cherry" forms a small to medium-sized deciduous tree with a horizontally spreading branched.
The fragrant, pure white, semi-double blossoms hang in clusters in mid-spring.
The large pale green leaves colour well during autumn, turning a blend of red, orange and yellow.
A hardy plant, best for a sunny position.
Due to the spreading habit, it is sometimes grafted as a standard.
