This lovely Viburnum is a compact grower to approx 1.2 metres x 1.2 metres.
The foliage is deep green with prominent venation that gives the leaves a pleated appearance from which the Latin species name plicatum is derived.
It produces great reddish-purple. autumn foliage that remains on the bush longer than on most other deciduous shrubs.
It produces rounded "snowball" clusters of sterile pure white flowers in late spring.
A very hardy shrub that will be a highlight in any garden.
