This is a taller growing variety of the "Lily-of-the Valley" bush.
In spring large panicles of white bell-shaped flowers are produced.
Following flowering, bright red new growth emerges.
This growth slowly fades to a creamy-orange colour before maturing to a dark green.
Removing the spent flower panicles will encourage more of the stunning new red leaves.
Although capable of growing more than 2 metres, it responds really well to pruning.
