This beautiful variety of the "Lily-of -the-Valley" bush is grown for both the flowers and the foliage.
In spring, racemes of tiny white bell-shaped flowers are produced in abundance.
These are followed with bright red new leaves.
These leaves slowly mature to a dark green colour.
Pieris combine well with azaleas, rhododendrons and camellias.
They are best protected from the hot afternoon sun and hot winds.
This cultivar is capable of growing more than 1.5 metres.
