'Kirsten' is a compact growing hydrangea reaching approximately 1 metre in height.
In soils with a high ph, the flower colour will be bright pink; with a low ph the colour will be blue.
With a neutral ph of 7, there may be a combination of pink, mauve and blue flowers on the one plant.
As with all hydrangeas, it is best to prune after flowering.
Hydrangeas will perform best when protected from the hot afternoon sun.
