A very long flowering magnolia, producing a magnificent display in spring and intermittent flowers in summer and autumn.
The large pointed flowers are a bright pink colour.
It is a cross between M. campbellii and M. liliiflora.
This is a favourite magnolia with the landscape designers, as it flowers so profusely and has attractive leaves after flowering.
