A stunning sight in spring when in full flower.
The flowers are a brilliant deep ruby-red colour.
Although flowering at a young age, it takes a few years for the deep colour to develop.
It can reach at least 5 metre in height.
It was bred in New Zealand by the Jurys and has remained the most popular of all their hybrids.
