This cultivar of the "Japanese Maple" does not have the typical palmate shaped leaves.
Instead the leaves have long, thin lobes with smooth edges.
The foliage is a soft green colour in spring and summer before turning to a soft orange colour in autumn.
It forms an elegant, rounded shrub growing to approximatley 2 metres.
The name can be aptly translated to "beautiful little girl".
