This cultivar does not have the typical palmate-shaped leaves of the "Japanese Maple".
It has strap-like leaves with long, thin lobes, creating a very graceful look.
The leaves are a deep red in spring and may become slightly greener through summer.
It forms a round topped shrub growing to approximately 2-3 metres.
