This cultivar of the "Japanese Maple" has finely dissected leaves that are usually found only in the weeping varieties.
These lacy leaves are deep green in spring and summer before turning red to orange in autumn.
It forms a rounded tree, capable of growing to 4 mteres or so.
It is a hardy maple and can be grown in shade or sun, provided there is protection from hot winds.
