This is an interesting cultivar of the Sawara Cypress.
The foliage is bright yellow throughout the year.
This foliage is usually fan shaped but may also produce some thread-like foliage as in the Filifera group.
Young plants are usually wider than high and could be kept this way with a little regular trimming.
Otherwise an upright leader can form to develop a conical shaped shrub.
If allowed to grow upright, a height of more than 1.2 metres could be reached in the first 10 years.
