This cultivar of the hardy deodar cedar is a semi-dwarf evergreen conifer.
The beautiful blue green to powder blue, needle-like foliage, attains its best colour in full sun.
It will tolerate light shade, but not a dark position.
As a young plant its habit is somewhat mounding with a somewhat flat top, wider than tall.
Slowly it becomes conical or pyramidal in shape with the advent of a slow growing leader.
The attractive branching with drooping tips is like the species.
A 10 year old plant may reach more than 1 metre.
Often spelt incorrectly as 'Divinely Blue'
