This little conifer has soft fluffy foliage, totally different to the normal Hinoke foliage.
As the plant gets older, it may sprout out some mature Hinoke growth. This needs to be removed as it is more dominant and may smother the fluffy juvenile foliage.
It responds well to trimming and is good for bonsai.
It will grow less than 1 metre in the first 10 years.
