This cultivar of the "Hinoke Cypress" has totally different foliage than the other cultivars. Instead of being fan-shaped, it is twisted and thread-like.
The foliage is very dark green and the stems of the new growth is orange.
It forms an irregular shaped shrub, but can easily be kept trimmed into a ball or cone.
It would grow less than 1 metre in the first 10 years, making it ideal for rockeris or pots.
It will tolerate both sun and shade.
