This is one of the best of the dwarf pencil-shaped conifers available.
It is very slow growing, reaching less than 1M in 10 years.
The very tight foliage is slightly prickly and a grey-green colour.
It is excellent for a small vertical accent in a rockery, and is often planted in a small group.
It will not tolerate a shady position.
It is ideal for dish gardens or patio pots.
