This forms a low spreading shrub with slightly sharp, needle-like foliage.
The colour is bright yellow in summer and then turns to a rich old gold in winter.
It need to be in a sunny position to bring out the golden colour.
It is quite hardy but it needs well drained soil.
It is one of the most dramatic colour-changing conifers.
