Juniperus squamata 'Blue Swede' is very hardy juniper.
It forms a low spreading shrub with short, slightly ascending branches.
The foliage is a lovely silvery-blue colour and slightly prickly to touch.
It will tolerate a hot, sunny position or dappled shade.
It makes a lovely low garden plants and is ideal for rockeries or patio pots.
