Often called the "Golden Plume Juniper".
It has showy golden foliage and needs a sunny position to retain this colour.
It forms a vase-shaped bush with arching stems and usually grows wider than high.
It is tolerant of most soil types except wet ones and does best in full sun.
Along with Juniperus x-media 'Shimpaku' it has been used as a bonsai specimen.
This plant is low maintenance, and can be used as a ground cover, in borders or as a specimen.
