An upright shrub with spreading branches.
The juvenile foliage is a light green colour and very prickly.
Older plants display darker, smooth foliage.
Grows to approximately 2M in the first 10 years.
An excellent plant for forming an impenetrable barrier.
This "Chinese Juniper" also responds extremely well to clipping, making it ideal for topiary or bonsai.
