This plant has had a recent name change to Pherosphaera fitzgeraldii.
Its natural habitat is in the Blue Mountains in NSW. and usually near the splash zones of waterfalls.
It is one of the few conifers that prefers shade or filtered light rather than an open position.
It forms an interesting low spreading shrub, to approximately 1 metre by 1 metre.
