This conifer is another Athrotaxis species from the mountains of westernTasmania.
It forms a narrow, upright specimen with cascading branches, becoming broader with age.
The foliage is an attractive dark green colour.
It could be a specimen feature amongst other trees or shrubs.
It need protection from both frost and hot, dry conditions.
In cultivation, it would rarely grow more than 7 metres.
