"KING BILLY PINE"
This conifer is a native of westernTasmania where it grows in the mountains at an altitude of 760-1200 metres.
It can be grown at lower altitudes provided it is protected from both frosts and hot, dry condition.
In a protected position, it could be grown as a lawn specimen or amongst other trees.
It would rarely reach more than 8 metres in cultivation.
