"Maidenhair Tree"
A slow growing deciduous conifer.
The peculiar fan-shaped leaves resembles those of the Maidenhair Fern and are a light green colour before turning bright yellow in autumn.
A magnificent lawn specimen.
Very tolerant of pollution.
Used as a street tree in France and Japan where they prune them each year to control the size.
Popular with bonsai enthusiasts.
