"Plum Pine"
A tall tree growing that can reach at least 8M in its natural habitat.
It is a native of the coastal gullies of NSW.
The glossy leaves are dark green, and edible fruit may be produced in late autumn.
The new growing tip are slightly orange in colour
As it responds very well to pruning, it could be used for hedging.
Also with trimming, it can also be kept in a patio pot or used for bonsai.
It will tolerate sun or shade, but is best with protection from hot, drying winds.
