"Mount Spurgeon Black Pine"
This is a rare conifer naturally found on Mt Spurgeon in Queensland.
It is slow growing to around 10 metres high in its natural habitat.
While it need sprotection from frost when young, it can make a lovely specimen in a large garden.
It has been used successfully as an indoor plant in a well-lit position.
The foliage is more leaf-like than typical conifer foliage.
This is one for the conifer collectors.
