This is one of the small and very compact variety of Rhodendron.
The small pink buds open to bell-shaped, creamy white flowers with rosy edges.
A very striking feature is the deep bronze-red new growth.
The ideal planting position is part shade.
It is a very attractive shrub, growing to approximately 1.2 metres.
