'Fireman Jeff' produces masses of tight trusses in a fire engine red colour.
This is one of the bushier growing rhododenrons, capable of growing up to 2 metres.
The bright flowers contrast nicely to the dark green foliage.
As with all rhododendrons they perform best in rich, acidic soil and should have a good layer of mulch over the root zone in summer.
