'Kluis Sensation' is a compact rhododendron with attractive dark foliage.
The rounded trusses are slightly-frilled.
They are crimson-scarlet in colour with dark red spots in the throat.
A hardy, older variety which flowers in late spring to early summer.
A medium-sized evergreen shrub, growing to approximately 2.5 metres.
