'Rhododendron 'Mignight' is an Australian hybrid by K Van de Ven.
It is a result of a cross between 'Cup Day' and 'Purple Splendour'.
It has a beautiful compact form with nice dark green leaves.
The medium sized heads of reddish purple flowers have deep maroon throat blotches and sit erect.
It is a great variety for a smaller garden or patio pot, growing to at least 1 metre in height and width.
