'Pink Pearl' is a very hardy, old time Rhododendron.
Every year it produces masses of large conical trusses of soft pink flowers fading nearly white with red-brown speckling.
It is a vigorous plant with a dense upright habit which performs best in a fairly sunny position.
If grown in too much shade, it can become a bit straggly, but light pruning will help maintain its shape.
It can become quite tall and usually reaches a height of approximately 1.8metres after 10 years or so.
