'Schiller' is a very hardy variety of Rhododendron.
It produces masses of deep lilac flowers held in compact and rounded trusses.
Each individual flower has a distictive dark purple blotch in the throat.
The flowers appear in October to November.
It usually grows to at least 2 metres in height.
