'White Flare' is one of the spectacular varieties bred in Olinda, Australia by Karel van de Ven.
It produces masses of large pure white trusses with a yellow green flare.
It forms a compact, bushy shrub to approximately 1.5 metres.
Protection from the hot afternoon sun and hot winds is a requirement of most rhododendrons.
