This cultivar of the "Weeping Japanese Maple" has extremely small and finely dissected leaves.
These leaves are light green in spring, becoming a darker green in summer and burgundy-red in autumn. It hold its autumn colour longer than most of the other cultivars.
It is a vigorous grower and one of the hardiest varieties.
